Forum Diskurs International ist eine Veranstaltungsreihe des ISM-Kuratoriums zu internationalen linken Perspektiven.

Seit dem Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts ist die Ukraine unaufhörlichen Verwüstungen ausgesetzt: Krieg, Faschismus, Antisemitismus, Stalinismus, Ausbeutung, atomare Verseuchung und Armut. Mit dem Angriffskrieg erfährt diese Leidensgeschichte seit dem Februar 2022 eine grausame Fortschreibung, die globale Auswirkungen hat. Gegen die allgegenwärtige Militarisierung und ihre propagandistischen Vereinfachungen wagt Raúl Sánchez Cedillo die dringliche Untersuchung darüber, wie eine emanzipatorische Politik angesichts der Herausbildung eines kontinentalen Kriegsregimes aussehen kann. Das Buch Dieser Krieg endet nicht in der Ukraine. Für einen konstituierenden Frieden (transversal texts 2023, in Kooperation mit medico international) plädiert für eine Ökologie des Gemeinsamen, für neue Institutionen einer demokratischen Gegenmacht, für einen konstituierenden Frieden.

Raúl Sánchez Cedillo ist Philosoph und lebt in Madrid. Seit Ende der 1990er-Jahre hat er sich als politischer Aktivist für eine Neugründung Europas durch einen konstituierenden Prozess eingesetzt. Er ist politischer Analyst der Fundación de los Comunes und Mitglied der Universidad Nómada. Seit dem Euromaidan 2014, dem Aufstand gegen die Janukowitsch-Regierung, ist er in engem Kontakt mit unabhängigen künstlerischen und politischen Initiativen aus der Ukraine.

Isabell Lorey ist eine der Sprecher:innen des ISM-Kuratoriums und politische Theoretikerin. Außerdem arbeitet sie für transversal.at, die Publikationsplattform des European Institute for Progressive Cultural Policies (eipcp).

Forum Discourse International is a series of events organized by the ISM Scientific Council  highlighting international perspectives from the left. 

Since the beginning of the 20th century, Ukraine has been subjected to ceaseless devastation: war, fascism, anti-Semitism, Stalinism, exploitation, nuclear contamination, and poverty. With the war of aggression, this history of suffering has been experiencing a cruel continuation since February 2022, with global effects. Against the pervasive militarization and its propagandistic simplifications, Raúl Sánchez Cedillo dares to urgently explore what an emancipatory politics can look like in the face of the emergence of a continental war regime. The book This War Does Not End in Ukraine. For a Constituent Peace (transversal texts 2023, in cooperation with medico international) argues for an ecology of the common, for new institutions of democratic counter-power, for a constituent peace.

Raúl Sánchez Cedillo is a philosopher and lives in Madrid. Since the late 1990s he has worked as a political activist for a refoundation of Europe through a constituent process. He is a political analyst at Fundación de los Comunes and a member of the Universidad Nómada. Since the Euromaidan 2014, the uprising against the Yanukovych government, he had close contact with independent artistic and political initiatives from Ukraine.
