Forum Diskurs International ist eine Veranstaltungsreihe des ISM-Kuratoriums zu internationalen linken Perspektiven.

Seit der russischen Invasion in die Ukraine fragen sich viele, wie es um die gesellschaftliche Linke in Russland steht. Im ersten digitalen ISM-Forum Diskurs International am Montag, 17.4.2023 um 17.30 CEST treffen wir Alexandra, eine politische Aktivistin aus Moskau, die über die politische Entwicklung und Situation unter Putin sprechen wird. Alexandra ist seit vielen Jahren in linken Kontexten aktiv und wird darüber berichten, wie Progressive in Russland die politische Situation der letzten Jahre erleben und was es für solidarische Handlungsperspektiven gibt.

Alexandra, deren vollen Namen wir aus Sicherheitsgründen nicht veröffentlichen, ist Politikwissenschaftlerin und arbeitet an verschiedenen Moskauer Universitäten.

Johannes Angermuller ist Sprecher des ISM-Kuratoriums und Professor für Diskursforschung an der Open University in Großbritannien.

Moderation: Fabian Kessl, Professor für Sozialpädagogik an der Bergischen Universität Wuppertal und ebenfalls Sprecher des ISM-Kuratoriums

Discourse International on the political situation in Russia

Digital discussion on Monday, April 17 2023 

Forum Discourse International is a series of events organized by the ISM Scientific Council  highlighting international perspectives from the left. 

Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, many have been wondering about the state of the social left in Russia. In the first ISM Discourse International digital forum on Monday, April 17, 2023 at 5:30 pm CEST we will talk to Alexandra, a political activist from Moscow, who will speak on the political development and situation under Putin. Alexandra has been active in leftist contexts for many years and will talk about how progressives in Russia experience the political situation of the last years and what are the perspectives for action in solidarity.

Alexandra, whose full name we do not publish for security reasons, is a political scientist and works at various Moscow universities.

Johannes Angermuller is spokesperson for the ISM Scientific Council and Professor of Discourse Research at the Open University in the UK.
